The Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin

We stayed in the Upper Mermansion for our Honeymoon September 2011 and it was amazing. The Cottages are located right in the main heart of town near all the restaurants and shops. It was so nice to relax on our balcony with a glass of wine overlooking the harbor and then walk into town for dinner. We also enjoyed the complimentary bicycle rentals and shuttle rides across the island. It made it very easy to vacation without worrying about a car rental. The concierge was very helpful and accommodating. Overall we had an excellent experience and felt very pampered. Can't wait to go back!

Great location. Staff is really helpful and does an excellent job to accommodate you during your visit. Great place to bring your dog. To share a nice detail, they left us health contact information for our dog, which included contacts for dog walkers, the closest vet, groomers, and pet stores. This was a nice touch.

My wife and I visited here for our anniversary. It was an unforgettable stay. From the start to the finish, we loved it and would definitely choose to stay here again. The staff were friendly, informative, professional and helpful. During checkin, they showed us to our room, carried our bags, offered a ride on their golf cart (we just prefer walking), showed us everything in our cottage, how everything works (appliances, hvac, etc). We stayed in the little 2nd story “Upper Mermansion” and it was adorably small, but perfectly practical with amazing views. Speaking of views, many yachts to watch come and go from the boat basin as well as a solid population of seals that make their appearance throughout the day. On the service side, they tidied our room each day, replenished towels and even did our dishes that were at the kitchenette sink! Bathrooms are very updated, new Kohler toilets, white tile showers with rainfall water heads. Big screen TV in the bedroom and living/kitchen. WiFi was fast and provided a good connection. Our favorite part might have been that it was literally only a few steps from Slip 14 and O bar at Yoshi Sushi, literally less than a minute walking from our unit. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed if you prefer a little space of your own with a kitchenette and great service as well as bars/restaurants right next door.

Over the water and right near all the action of downtown. Between the convenient shuttle to the complimentary ice cream and lemonade, we had a great experience.

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon with our dog a few years ago. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding! They even accommodated our dog with her own bed, specialized name tag, ball toys and treats. They really went all out for our dog and we appreciated it so much. Apart from that, the location was fantastic re: proximity to restaurants, shops and the like. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again if we return.

Prime location, walk to everything, waterfront cottages. Can’t beat the location. Staff are warm and friendly. Not very quiet or private after dusk, if that’s what you require. Cottages are we’ll equipped but not up to date in decor and fittings, if that’s important to you. It’s definitely a great once-experience.

Insane location!!! Walkable to everything downtown. We LOVED our time here in our little cottage and can’t wait to go back. Super super friendly and helpful staff as well. Price was reasonable for us but we went in April- it will definitely go up during the season. Really loved this place!

We stayed in the pawana cottage and it was so cozy and cute! The location was perfect, less than a minute walk from the ferry and close to a lot of great restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they truly are pet friendly. We brought our two dogs and they accommodated us with dog bowls, beds, and a welcome bag for our pups. We will definitely go back.
